What still happens at a notary public
The notarial act, the part that makes the document official, is done by a notary public: the Government notary at a Dubai Courts service centre, or a private notary registered with Dubai Courts. The notary checks your ID, confirms you understand and agree, watches you sign and applies the seal. We book that appointment for you at an office that takes your document.

Business Bay companies
Business Bay has many company offices, so a lot of our in-person work here is corporate: board resolutions, powers of attorney for a manager, MOA changes and signature authentication for a company signatory. For these, the notary will want the trade licence and proof of the signatory's authority, and for a document above a stated value the federal fee is set by value. Bring the licence and the latest MOA or resolution when you visit, and we will tell you what the notary will ask for.
If your company is registered in the DIFC and the document is for a DIFC matter, the DIFC Courts run their own notary service. That is the right office for DIFC matters, and we will say so.
